About me
I’m Bence Hubert, a dog trainer
I have been working with dogs for 14 years. I started with my own dog’s problems, then worked with shelter dogs and friends’ dogs. Today I work with clients.
I completed Joel Beckman’s two-year training, the Beckman Coaching Program.

Rewards and clear boundaries
I use a balanced approach. I reward good behaviour, and I set consistent boundaries for unwanted behaviour that are clear to the dog.
I do not bring a ready-made recipe: I look at your dog and your situation and adapt the practice to them.
What does this mean in practice?
I reward your dog when it does something well – with praise, treats or play, whatever matters most to them.
When the dog does something unwanted, I am consistent: the dog always clearly understands what not to do and what to do instead.
I show you what to do, then we practise together so that it works at home, without me.

Barak is a 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, and he is my dog.
