FAQ

Got a question?

Here you will find answers to the most common questions about booking, locations and sessions.

How do I book a session?

On the Booking page you can see available times live. Choose what you would like, where and when, then fill in the questionnaire about your dog. This is a request at first: I review every request personally and confirm it by email.

When is my booking final?

When you receive the confirmation email. If I cannot take the time for some reason, I will let you know.

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least 24 hours and at most 30 days in advance. If the time you request starts within 48 hours, I will try to confirm quickly, but I cannot guarantee it.

How do I cancel?

Your confirmation email contains a cancellation link. You can use it up to 24 hours before the session. If something comes up later than that, please call me.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

You can find the current prices on the home page. Payment is in cash on the spot. For sessions in a park or at your home there is also a travel fee, which depends on travel time and distance; I give you the exact amount in the confirmation.

Where do the sessions take place?

At my place in Kistarcsa (I send the exact address in the confirmation), in a park or another neutral place, or at your home, in Budapest and the surrounding area. If you are not sure, choose “Not sure – what do you suggest?” when booking, and I will suggest a location based on your description.

What is the free phone consultation for?

If you are not sure yet what you need, let us start with a 15-minute call. At the booked time I will call you on the number you provided. We talk through the situation and I suggest a location and a plan. It is free once per client. Request a consultation

I have more than one dog. How do I book?

One booking is for one dog, because each dog gets my full attention. If you would like to come with more than one dog, please book a separate time for each of them.

How many sessions will we need?

It depends on your dog, the problem and how much you can practise between sessions. At the end of the first session we will agree on how best to continue.

What should I bring?

Please bring:

  • a fixed-length lead, and a collar or harness;
  • high-value treats: something your dog loves and rarely gets;
  • a muzzle, if your dog is aggressive.

If you do not have a fixed-length lead, a collar or – if needed – a muzzle, let me know when you book.

My dog is aggressive or has bitten before. What should I expect?

Please describe honestly in the questionnaire what happened: this way I can prepare, and the session will be safe for everyone. If your dog has bitten before or is aggressive, I will call you after you book to talk through the details.

Why do you ask so many questions about my dog?

So that I arrive prepared and we can focus on your situation from the very first minute. I only use your data for the session and delete it 12 months after your last session.

Did not find your answer?
